Brand Spotlight Tasting Sampler
Caldwell sampler:
Long Love the Queen maduro - crest 5.5x46
Long Live the Queen is a cigar that is incredibly full in flavor with a good amount of spice, yet refined and balanced. Made in the Dominican Republic, Long Live the Queen is rolled at the El Maestro factory, a smaller factory owned by William Ventura. It's a four-country blend consisting of a reddish-brown Cameroon cover leaf, a Sumatra binder grown in Indonesia and a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.
Long Live the King - 5.75x46
Caldwell's Long Live the King cigar comprises a Dominican Corojo wrapper, a Dominican Corojo binder, and a filler blend composed of Dominican ligero and Pelo de Oro, Nicaraguan Habano leaf, and tobacco from Peru. The combination ensures a full-bodied and complex smoke, with flavors of dark chocolate, oak, earth, coffee beans, and hay, intermingled with floral notes and a bit of spice.
King is Dead - 6x52 belicoso
Featuring a 2008 Dominican Negrito wrapper, a 2006 Dominican Corojo binder, along with a filler blend of Dominican Corojo Ligero, Dominican Negrito Viso, and HVA 20/20 (a special Cuban hybrid developed in the Dominican Republic), Caldwell Cigar Co.'s The King is Dead combines the dark tonality of earth and the subtle nuance of maple sweetness to make for a rich and balanced smoking experience.
