This year, we’ve unearthed a revered Connecticut blend born during a time when the cigar world was obsessed with maduros in the early 2010s. The factory behind this 6x54 box-pressed toro revealed hardly any details—the Connecticut Shade wrapper comes from a specific, highly coveted farm, and the blend includes tobaccos from several countries…no factory wants to risk signaling to the original brand owner the revival of their prized blend.
